Mr. Duncan is Co-founder, Chairman, and Managing Principal of Transwestern Investment Company, L.L.C. and Chairman of Transwestern Commercial Services, L.L.C.
In 1978, Mr. Duncan formed Transwestern Commercial Services and directed its expansion into a diversified real estate company specializing in development, management, leasing, and disposition of institutional-grade properties. Mr. Duncan began his career with the Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas and was the Partner responsible for commercial operations in San Antonio when he left in 1978 to form Transwestern.
Mr. Duncan is an active member of the Real Estate Round Table and of the Urban Land Institute; Founding Director of the University of Texas Real Estate Finance and Investment Center; member of the World Presidents Organization; Board of Directors, Greater Houston Community Foundation; and board member of the Greater Houston YMCA. Mr. Duncan earned a BBA in the Business Honors Program, an MBA in Finance, and an LLB degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
