Ronald I. Miles is a Managing Director of Transwestern Investment Company, L.L.C. Mr. Miles' primary responsibilities at Transwestern include due diligence relating to property acquisitions and asset management. Since joining the firm in 1996, Mr. Miles has completed due diligence in excess of $9 billion. He has conducted due diligence on all types of real estate and in most of the markets in the United States.
Prior to joining the Investment Company, Mr. Miles was the Controller and Senior Financial Analyst of Helios Management Company, a joint venture between the Pritzker family and Jeffrey M. Gault. While at Helios, Mr. Miles was responsible for accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis of all real estate assets, the coordination of due diligence, and asset management of a 400,000 square foot regional mall during its redevelopment. He is a Certified Public Accountant and was previously with Kenneth Leventhal & Company as a Senior Accountant in the Audit Department.
Mr. Miles earned his BS degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society.
