William J. Swackhamer is a Managing Director of Transwestern Realty Finance Partners, L.L.C. Mr. Swackhamer’s is responsible for investment origination and portfolio management activities.
Prior to joining Transwestern Realty Finance, Mr. Swackhamer was Managing Director of MMA Realty Capital, and was responsible for loan origination activity for MMA’s bridge, mezzanine and permanent loan programs. Prior to MMA, he was with MONY Realty Capital for 18 years, and was a leader in the asset management group responsible for the repositioning and sale of $2.4 billion in real estate for MONY Life. During his career, he has been involved in all aspects of real estate investment management, including loan originations, workouts, redevelopment, sales, and asset management. He also has extensive experience in the engineering and construction fields.
Mr. Swackhamer earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (Office Development Council), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the University of Colorado Real Estate Council.
