Scott A. Tausk is a Managing Director of Transwestern Investment Company, L.L.C., and head of the Ownership Representation Group. In addition to his role leading the Owner Representation Group, Mr. Tausk is primarily responsible for the asset management, development, value creation and disposition of investments in multiple markets, including Atlanta, Denver and Detroit.
Prior to joining Transwestern in 1998, Mr. Tausk held similar positions in property and asset management at two local Chicago firms, The John Buck Company, and Colliers, Bennett & Kahnweiler. Mr. Tausk also has over ten years experience in real estate development, mostly as a Project Manager for Hawthorn Realty Group, overseeing the development of several mixed-use properties in Chicago, including Riverway, a 1.2 million square foot project in Rosemont, Illinois.
Mr. Tausk earned a BS Degree in Civil Engineering at Purdue University, and an MBA from The University of Chicago. Mr. Tausk holds Illinois licenses as both a Registered Professional Engineer and a Real Estate Broker.
