Transwestern Investment Company is a principal-oriented real estate investment firm.  Since its inception in 1996, Transwestern has pursued a series of investment initiatives, all focused primarily on domestic, value-added strategies. To date, the firm has made over 455 property investments nationwide representing a gross investment in excess of nearly $11 billion. Transwestern has also liquidated over 360 properties representing approximately $7 billion in gross proceeds generating significant risk-adjusted returns and equity multiples. 

Transwestern’s Aslan funds represent a series of three domestic, value-added real estate investment vehicles initiated in 1999. The latest fund, Aslan III, is the “flagship” of Transwestern's investment activity and totals $800 million in capital commitments from 50 institutional partners and many high net worth investors. Aslan III is targeting domestic real estate assets that are undervalued or demonstrate strong prospects for value creation, with a focus on office, industrial, and retail properties. Investments will be pursued nationwide through one-off acquisitions (typically with a cost of $50 to $150 million), as well as larger portfolio or entity transactions. The fund has already invested in a geographically diversified portfolio of 40 office and 6 retail properties totaling 12.4 million square feet, and ten mezzanine loan investments, representing a gross investment of $2.8 billion.
